THE ROLE
Next Gen Coordinators play a crucial role in prioritising the safety of our U18 cohort, focusing on security measures and compliance. They nurture personal growth and skill development among our U18 student residents, enhancing their overall experiences.
The Next Gen Coordinator is responsible for:
Acting as a contact point for students under the age of 18 (U18) requiring advice on support services. Ensuring U18 students adhere to regulations, including Scape House Rules. Assisting U18 residents and other customers in resolving issues and complaints. Conducting specific under 18 property inductions and welfare checks. Building relationships with key stakeholders in their welfare departments through regular meetings and effective communication. Ensuring all staff are trained in their duties regarding U18 students, including daily curfew and incident reporting. Keeping up to date with Child Safety Standards, University requirements, and legislation to ensure compliance. Working with the operations team to ensure consistency in U18 processes across all Scape properties. Creating and implementing new processes pertaining to the welfare of under 18 student residents. As a successful Next Gen Coordinator, you are a caring, highly organised, and passionate individual who cares about the welfare of our U18 residents. You will possess:
High attention to detail. Ability to prioritise and multitask. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work varied hours and weekends to connect with residents. Please note: The successful candidate must be willing to undertake a National Police Check and a Working with Children check.
