About Nexgen Crushing and Screening: NEXGEN Crushing & Screening ('NGC') was established by Daniel Palmer, who has many years of extensive experience in earthmoving & materials processing before independently launching NGC in 2017. With NGC's head office located in Albany, works can be delivered upon throughout Western Australia. Operations currently employ over 50 people and can upscale as needed to effectively and productively deliver on large-scale projects or smaller project needs that are tailored solutions to suit customer needs within the mining, civil construction, and industry sectors. NGC can provide full-scale service capabilities in Quarry Management or independent small-scale operations and anything in between for earthmoving, mining, material processing, heavy haulage, and drill & Blast.
The role: We are seeking a Heavy Diesel Mechanic/Fitter to be an integral part of our crew on sites from Kalgoorlie to Mt Magnet and everywhere in between. We have secured some lucrative contracts for 2025 with great possibilities in 2026 too. We want to keep growing and exceeding our possibilities and need you in our team to do so.
The main focus of this role will be helping keep our modern fleet of Prime movers (Scanias), earthmoving equipment and all crushing equipment (Kleemann) operational and serviced, maintained and repaired as needed in accordance with requirements.
