They perform functions across both editorial and operational facets of television news production.
Supporting the 7 Tasmania News Producer, the News Assistant helps to source, prepare, ensure the accuracy of, and deliver network content, on-air graphics, and closed captioning content for live news broadcasts.
They may also contribute to writing news updates.
