Job Description *********Brand New State of the Art Workshop Coming in 2025*********
Working out of our Geraldton workshop, you will be responsible for preventative maintenance & repairs to our Mack & Volvo on-road heavy multi-combination vehicles to enable best possible equipment availability and utilisation.
A day in the workshop could see you:
Maintain equipment in line with manufacturing specifications & statutory requirements Diagnose faults safely, accurately, & efficiently Report new issues/faults to management Manage work orders & respond promptly to driver & workshop repair requests Complete required workshop documentation, paperwork & in-system data What's on Offer NEW Family Friendly even time roster for Geraldton based qualified mechanics! We are now offering the option of a 7 on 7 off roster.
New pay rates $66.00 per hour PLUS short-term bonuses PLUS retention bonuses
$35,000 of retention bonuses over 5 years of service. $15k within 2 years! Super paid on all hours worked. Quarterly team productivity bonuses. State-of-the-art workshop with everything you'd ever want! Due May 2025. New, fully equipped Field Service Truck. Your own personal air conditioner for use in your work area! Depot Wellness Hub - Massage Chairs, Infrared Sauna, Hyperbaric Chamber, Carol Bike, Yoga Room with more to come. Employee Assistance and Health & Wellbeing programs. Access to employee discounts, with up to 400+ Retail stores. Qualifications C Class Driver's Licence, or HR Licence (preferable). Minimum 2 years in maintenance & repair of heavy vehicle and/or trailers (Volvo & Mack preferable). Experience in vehicle inspections and electric & repairs to heavy duty trucks and trailers. Heavy vehicle authorised examiner certification (desirable but not essential). Willing to complete a pre-employment medical.
