The Role
Located at our dealership in Windsor, Metro Hyundai is looking for an Assistant Sales Manager to assist the Hyundai sales team. Someone who has a person-centred approach and is capable of assisting in leading a sales team of driven, ambitious professionals. You will be responsible for helping to develop and execute strategies that deliver high returns for our people, our customers, manufacturer, and shareholders.
As a strong advocate for the brand we represent, you will be known for delivering the ultimate customer experience, developing innovative ways of driving business, achieving KPIs, and personally leading sales training and team development with high energy and charisma. You can foster a team of strong engagement and enthusiasm, and you will be someone who can inspire a team, give and receive feedback, respect and value relationships & diversity, while remaining accountable and taking our business to the next level whilst staying true to our Company Values and Guiding Principles.
Key Responsibilities:
Predominantly, you will be responsible for assisting the Hyundai Sales Team with:
Profit Optimisation of key revenue streams Understanding the OEM and the business purpose and vision Ability to achieve and exceed internal targets, Manufacturer expectations and KPI's Disciplined Management of Inventory and stock turn Maintain high Data & Administration reporting standards Providing the ultimate customer experience Cultivate a culture of empowered and engaged staff Sales planning and prospect management systems Training and development of the staff you manage Ensuring an innovative vehicle sales process Providing exceptional product and service knowledge to our customers Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders Maintaining current knowledge regarding the brand, its products and services About You Motivated and passionate nature Thrives in a competitive environment and is results-oriented, while remaining people-centric. Experience as a Sales Manager, Assistant Sales Manager, or strong Senior Salesperson in an Automotive Dealership is preferred but not necessarily required QLD Open Drivers Licence - Required Strong interpersonal and communication skills Reliable and a "can do" attitude Experience in managing, training, and coaching sales teams Proven track record of target achievement Proactive and solution-driven Automotive Sales or Dealer Licence Our Values
