The Financial Analyst plays a crucial role in preparing management reports, budgets, and forecasts, while providing valuable advice and insights on complex issues to a range of stakeholders in the Planning group. They ensure the accuracy of financial data and support business unit performance in line with corporate goals and Government objectives. Key responsibilities include:
Taking initiative and working autonomously Updating performance reports Enhancing reporting processes Assisting with annual budget preparation Providing analytical support Fostering productive relationships with stakeholders to meet performance and forecasting requirements What is an essential requirement: Relevant tertiary qualification and eligibility for membership of a recognised professional accounting body such as CPA Australia or Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia Advanced MS Excel, and experience using financial systems such as SAP About us
