Policy & Compliance Officer
About the role
Reporting directly to the Compliance Manager of Enterprise Risk & Business Assurance, you will be instrumental in collaborating with and upskilling the business in best practice document management. Your role will be crucial in driving document quality control across the organization, ensuring streamlined and efficient operations. This involves maintaining consistency in organizational documentation and storage, managing the document lifecycle, and designing relevant policies and procedures. You will demonstrate best practice document management across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain the controlled documents framework, updating as required. Manage organisational documentation through the document lifecycle, including monitoring and controlling the review schedule and process. Collaborate with business units to drive standardisation and ensure documents are managed according to our framework. Support internal stakeholders to review and update policies, procedures, guidelines, forms, and tools. Oversee the document management system on the intranet to ensure best practice and compliance. Ensure the security, accessibility, and proper distribution of organisational documents. Stay up to date on regulatory and legislative changes and their impact on organisational policies and procedures. Essential:
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite with excellent computer skills. Exceptional formatting skills. Highly motivated and organised with strong administrative qualities. Excellent time management and attention to detail. Understanding of Compliance, Risk, and Policy Management frameworks. Process-driven experience with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines. National Criminal History Check (Police Check), NDIS Worker Check, and Working with Children Check.
