The New Horizons Program provides early intervention, counselling, and outreach support to families with children and young people (0-18 years) who are showing early signs of mental health concerns or are at risk of developing such. Our goal is to create lasting positive change in the lives of vulnerable families, children and young people while offering meaningful career opportunities for our staff. The Role:

In this role you will engage with vulnerable families via a psycho-social assessment process and tailored intervention planning. Our service delivery is designed to successfully foster and maintain clients' engagement via home visits, school or community-based sessions, outreach counselling and support, psychoeducational group work, telehealth, and effective referral pathways. New Horizons practice is grounded in attachment and family systems theory. Our interventions are child-centred and family-focused. They are brought to life by a range of evidence-based modalities, each counsellor's individual style and areas of expertise and practice interest.
