These programs support individuals in developing principles of clinical practice that promotes the transference of knowledge, skills, and behaviour for life-long learning.
Through support and reflection, the program empowers individuals to make well-informed, evidence-based decisions throughout their careers.

Our program is designed to develop you into a competent and confident Nurse, facilitate professional adjustment to the workforce, accentuate your adult self-directed learning skills, and develop a commitment to a career in nursing.
The Nursing program consists of two rotations over 12 months, 6 months in each area.
The choice of area is open to negotiation and subject to the candidate's aptitude and future learning goals.
There is no guarantee you will be placed in your first preference.
You will be provided with: A dedicated Learning & Development Team of clinical facilitators and New Graduate preceptors who will support you throughout the 12-month program.3 full days of clinical orientation.2 graduate-specific study days.Monthly clinical workshops.Supernumerary shifts on each rotation.Access to scholarships for postgraduate study.What You Bring Mandatory: Registered or eligible for registration as an Enrolled Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).A willingness and interest to learn the skills associated with clinical nursing, including critical care skills.Australian or NZ Citizenship or the capacity to work permanently in Australia.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including demonstrated experience in liaising with a wide range of internal and external clients.Demonstrated ability to work autonomously as well as a member of a multidisciplinary team.Demonstrated ability to utilise the Nursing Process in the provision of safe, evidence-based nursing care to patients in an acute care environment.A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission-based organisation.Participation in ongoing professional development of self and others.Tips for Application In Your Cover Letter, Address the Following: Tell us about yourself.What motivates your interest in nursing?What are your career goals?What makes you stand out from other applicants?What do you know about the hospital environment?
