How you'll make an impact This role is responsible for growing the new independent advisers' funds under administration in AMPs flagship platform & master trust products through new business sales.
Success in this role will require disciplined execution of a well-considered business plan that aims at deepening and broadening support from a carefully segmented panel of independent financial advisers and licensees .
Main Focus Areas: Execute product and marketing initiatives to maximise new business opportunities Develop and maintain a forecasted sales pipeline of new business opportunity in line with your Wkly/Mthly/Annual Sales to achieve targets Engage, qualify, on-board and grow revenue from key advice businesses targets Growing our active number of Independent Financial Adviser (IFA) using AMP platforms products Maintaining key relationship with activated IFA AR's for a maximum period of 6 months to ensure steady growth of inflows, adviser satisfaction while transitioning the relationship across to the Business Development Manager Monitor all new business for a maximum period of six months  Establish competitor information profiles and share broadly Develop a disciplined approach to business sales planning and execution across a segmented panel of advisers to deliver your key financial accountabilities Establish and build key licensee relationships in your designated states Strong understanding and appreciation of sales frameworks, methodologies and processes to support the Wealth Management focus areas Adherence to all sales disciplines including agreed activity management, timeliness of reporting responsibilities, initiative delivery, risk & compliance framework Provide thought leadership and adopt an insight led approach to position AMPs solutions and assist advisers in achieving their business objectives Understand industry trends and adviser business drivers to help them navigate a fast-changing environment to maximise opportunities and mitigate challenges Understand competitor landscape in order to enhance the AMP offering and successfully overcome objections Build effective partnerships internally to help create positive customer and adviser experiences Willingness to make a positive difference beyond core deliverables by adopting a team first approach Ongoing contribution to a high-performance culture through commitment to ongoing improvement, personal development, flexible and adaptive attitude to change, individual & team accountabilities Day to day responsibilities include; Lead the sales effort to grow the opportunities pipeline through developing strong adviser relationships and an understanding of their business objectives Align sales activities to the agreed focus areas for AMP Wealth Management Personally, responsible for adhering to the risk & compliance framework and to act in the best interest of AMP's customers Work closely with team members to ensure quality of approach, consistency of behaviour and key messages to the market.
Processing of expenses: reconcile corporate AMEX card and reimbursements monthly Develop new business leads and progress opportunities from new adviser relationships Develop new business leads from relationships with key EFA licensee personnel in your designated state Follow up assigned leads through systems such as LinkedIn and other marketing systems Maintain comprehensive, accurate, and timely records of adviser relationship activities using appropriate systems Provide AMP product and system support to advisers to ensure efficiency, effectiveness and customer satisfaction.

Alignment to team and enterprise vision and ability to articulate this in a clear and compelling manner What you will bring to the team Ideally, you will bring the following experiences to this role:  5 years' experience in financial service industry (or related industry) RG 146 certification Degree or post graduate qualifications in a finance related discipline is highly desirable Solution based selling experience and skills Self-driven motivation with a hunter mentality and thirst for a challenge Ability to judge market opportunities and AMP's competitiveness in those sectors Evidence of adaptation to a rapidly changing environment A strong understanding of the Financial Planning market including compliance frameworks Proven track record in effectively resolving difficult or complex customer expectations You'll thrive here if… If you can adapt from BAU to the ambiguous with ease, you'll do well here.
