Position Overview:

Our client is seeking a driven and experienced Business Development Manager to spearhead their efforts in expanding their market presence and driving sales of their bespoke pump solutions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development within the water treatment industry, coupled with exceptional sales skills and a strategic mindset.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute strategic plans to drive sales growth and expand market share.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships, distributors, and direct sales channels.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including potential clients, industry partners, and regulatory bodies.

Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify potential opportunities and threats.

Provide regular reports and updates on sales performance, market trends, and business development activities to senior management.

Requirements:

Proven track record of success in business development and sales within the water treatment industry, with a focus on pumps or related equipment.

Strong understanding of water treatment processes, technologies, and industry standards.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to think strategically, analyze market data, and develop actionable insights.

Self-motivated with a results-driven approach and a passion for exceeding targets.

Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
