ABOUT THIS ROLEAs a JJ's Business Development / Sales Representative, you will support our depot operations in the Gippsland region; reporting to the Maffra Depot Manager.
This role would be well-suited to someone in the Bairnsdale / Sale area or surrounds.
No day will be the same – this position is well suited to an adaptable sales professional with the ability to multi-task and problem solve.
We equip our salespeople with a strong working knowledge of our business, so they can operate autonomously and confidently.
The role has three core components:
Provide excellent after-sales service to our existing customer base and defend them against competitors.Upsell new services to our existing customer base for mutual benefit.Grow our customer base within your assigned territory.Professionalism, expertise, and a sense of urgency are all critical to success in the role.
We are an essential services industry, offering stability to employees and reliability to our customers.
This position is a permanent, full-time Monday to Friday.
Regular travel required across the region.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESProactively pursue new business in a structured, focused & considered manner.Develop and nurture existing customers through systematic cycle visits and interactions.Meeting and exceeding sales targets and KPIs each week.Demonstrating a keen passion to drive the business forward and continuing to grow.Manage and efficiently action inbound customer calls and enquiries.Provide professional customer service to both internal and external customers.Ability to prioritise and perform duties in a fast-paced and varied role.Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the business.Identify enhancement opportunities and suggest solutions for improvement.Strive for improvement in operations whilst upholding a high level of safety at all times.ABOUT YOUEnjoy a challenge.Be driven and ambitious by nature; you love the thrill of winning new business and nurturing customers.Have strong verbal and written communication, presentation skills and be well-presented.Demonstrate you are outgoing by nature; you enjoy meeting people and have a strong focus on customer service.Have previous face-to-face selling experience (highly regarded).Be motivated & love to work autonomously and you enjoy being part of a larger team.Have a strong attention to detail; you are thorough and methodical in your approach.Have your own roadworthy vehicle and a valid Australian Drivers Licence.Be dedicated and reliable; we are an essential services industry.Have well-developed people and relationship skills.BENEFITSWe appreciate there is more to life than work.
