We do more than collect the bin from your street, we also convert waste into clean energy, divert food waste from landfill and convert to compost, manufacture customised waste management equipment, asbestos removal, refine and recycle oil, manage and maintain our fleet inhouse and have our own bespoke technology systems.
Our teams include Drivers/Operators, Heavy Vehicle Mechanics, Customer Service, Operations, Finance, IT/Digital, Environment, Engineering, Industrial Chemists, Safety, Administration and much more .

ABOUT THIS ROLE Working across the Canberra region, the main responsibility of this position is to drive new business and grow the presence of JJ's Waste & Recycling.

This position is a permanent, full-time Monday to Friday.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Proactively pursue new business in a structured, focused & considered manner.
Developing and nurturing existing customers through systematic cycle visits and interactions.
Meeting and exceeding sales targets and KPIs each week.
Demonstrating a keen passion to drive the business forward and continuing to grow.
Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the business.
Identify enhancement opportunities and suggest solutions for improvement.
Strive for improvement in operations whilst upholding a high level of safety at all times.
ABOUT YOU Driven and ambitious by nature, you love the thrill of winning new business and nurturing customers.
Well-presented with strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
Outgoing by nature, you enjoy meeting people and have a strong focus on customer service.
Previous face-to-face selling experience - highly regarded.
Motivated & love to work autonomously while enjoying being part of a larger team.
Strong attention to detail; thorough and methodical in your approach.
Have your own roadworthy vehicle and a valid Australian Drivers Licence.
Dedicated and reliable; we are an essential services industry.
