(GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.You willUtilise clinical judgement with minimum supervision in the selection of appropriate psychometric tests and preparation of psychological reports and treatment recommendationsParticipate in the design, implementation and evaluation of group programs for patients with complex needs that is evidence basedContribute a high level of neuropsychological consultation and ethical decision making in the achievement of organisational goalsMaintain own professional development by participating in seminars, further training and professional interaction with other PsychologistsAbout youTo be successful in this position you will require:A tertiary degree in Psychology (or equivalent) from a recognised tertiary institutionAHPRA RegistrationEvidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis BTuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be requiredDeclaration of serious discipline history must be disclosedCriminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)Base salary ranging from $124 435 - $133 901 per annumAbout UsThe Acute Psychology Service is located within Allied Health and Rehabilitation Services, and provides both inpatient and outpatient services to patients presenting to hospital with physical health and comorbid psychological and neuropsychological conditions.
