About the Role: This is a part-time, ongoing position at 60.8 hours (FTE 0.8) per fortnight as a Neuromuscular Administrative Assistant. This role sits within the Department of Neurology. It is part of an ongoing initiative to support clinical and medical staff with administrative tasks and scheduling of the multi-disciplinary Neuromuscular clinic which includes back-office administration work and assisting with patient flow
The Neuromuscular Administration Assistant would be required to work on Wednesdays.
You Will Be Responsible For: Coordinate the weekly multidisciplinary neuromuscular clinicsResponsible for booking, follow-up, and scheduling of patient appointments, including cancellations and new bookings at short noticeDeal with enquires related to clinic appointments and schedulingMaintain neuromuscular clinic patient database, with up-to-date data on patients and clinic appointments to ensure accurate schedulingEnsure appropriate and prompt response to scheduling enquiriesEnsure a high quality of customer service is provided to the clinical department and staffBuild and maintain effective relationships with relevant external stakeholdersYour Skills and Experience: Administrator training and/or previous relevant experience in a similar administrative role is an essential requirement for the roleDemonstrated ability to participate effectively in a multidisciplinary teamExcellent computer skills, including proficiency with Office 365Previous experience in a similar role and knowledge in a hospital/healthcare setting is highly regardedExperience with electronic medical records such as EPIC is desirableTo view the position description, please click here .
