We support clients requiring complex rehabilitation with a client base that is dynamic and diverse, treating a range of conditions including Stroke, Parkinsons Disease, Muscular Sclerosis, Brain Injury, Spinal Cord Injuries, Oncology, Respiratory disorders and others.

About the role
Start your day with a 5-10min team huddle
Clients are generally seen hourly with access to multiple private treatments rooms, large, air-conditioned gym and an extensive range of equipment and technology such as the virtual reality headsets.
Work closely with an experienced multi-disciplinary team that offers a challenging but extremely supportive work environment.
A Typical Day Might Include:
Clinic-Based Appointments:Deliver one-on-one therapy sessions focusing on ADL rehabilitation, cognitive rehabilitation, and upper limb retraining using virtual reality tools and traditional methods.
Assistive Technology Trials:Evaluate and trial equipment, including wheelchair seating, mobility aids, and adaptive equipment to ensure clients receive the most appropriate devices for their needs.
ADL Rehabilitation:Work with clients on self-care activities like dressing, grooming, meal preparation, and home management tasks, aiming to enhance independence and daily functioning.
Cognitive Rehabilitation:Develop tailored interventions to improve cognitive function, executive skills, and problem-solving abilities for individuals with conditions such as brain injuries, multiple sclerosis, or Parkinson's disease.
Home Visits:Conduct home assessments to ensure safe environments and recommend modifications to support clients' independence at home, including equipment installations and layout adjustments.
Community-Based Visits:Support clients in engaging with their local community through outings that build confidence and functional skills, helping to improve participation in meaningful activities like shopping, public transport use, or social engagement.
Telehealth for Rural and Regional Clients:Deliver remote therapy sessions to clients in rural and regional areas. Utilise telehealth platforms and VR technology to provide accessible and effective therapy services, overcoming geographical barriers.
Interdisciplinary Collaboration:Work closely with physiotherapists, speech pathologists, and exercise physiologists to provide comprehensive, client-centred care.
