Networks & Systems Administration (Information & Communication Technology)We are HCLTech, one of the fastest-growing large tech companies in the world and home to 219,000+ people across 54 countries, supercharging progress through industry-leading capabilities centered around Digital, Engineering and Cloud.We are looking for an experienced Network Specialist in Melbourne for Full-time/Contract.Looking for a dedicated cloud infrastructure/network designer to support teams providing networking design and provisioning services.Roles and Responsibilities:Assist Customer's corporate network architect, service delivery, business unit and application teams to understand the requirements.Assist in building alignment with the Architecture Review Board (ARB) and Customer's cyber team by working with Customer's virtual team across Cloud Centre of Excellence (CCoE), information technology (IT) infrastructure, information security (Infosec) and application development operations (DevOps).Participate in project meetings and discussions to understand the business requirement and come up with a solution to meet those business requirements using cloud services.Design and deploy cloud network resources using a mutually agreed number of infrastructure-as-code (IaC) methods for relevant Cloud network resources including virtual private cloud (VPC), internet protocol (IP) addressing, and subnets.Document and handover all automation artefacts developed under this engagement.Provide assistance based on AWS/GCP/Azure general best practices to Customer's application teams with troubleshooting connectivity requirements.Identify and assist Customer with potential improvement opportunities as a result of new features, and redundant resources.Provide advice based on AWS/GCP/Azure general best practices on Customer's internal policies for use of AWS/GCP/Azure Services such as deployment, provisioning, and de-provisioning of AWS/GCP/Azure Services.Provide advice based on AWS/GCP/Azure general best practices on Customer's internal standards for use of AWS/GCP/Azure Services for application use cases such as recommended services, sizes, and metrics on AWS/GCP/Azure Services.Provide a mutually agreed number of examples of new policies and general best practices for use of AWS/GCP/Azure infrastructure services, as mutually agreed.Participate in knowledge transfer sessions, as mutually agreed.Facilitate the coordination and activities of groups across the project.Networking Specialist – Requirements:Network Design and Architecture - Design virtual network, VPC, VNets in cloud environment (AWS/Azure/GCP)Implementation and Configuration - Setting up cloud networking components such as subnets, route tables, gateway, load balancer - VPN connection and direct connect service on premises networkSecurity Management - Implementation policy and security best practice - Managing security groupMonitoring and Troubleshooting - Monitor network performance and health - Diagnose and resolve network related issuesAutomation and Scripting - Automate network provisioning using IaC tools like terraform/ARM Template or CloudFormation.Collaboration - Working closely with other IT, Security team, DevOps and application dev team, to ensure seamless cloud operations - Providing general best practice in AWS/GCP and Azure and recommended services, sizes, and metrics on AWS/GCP/Azure Services.AWS networking skillset (mandatory) with Google and Microsoft Azure DevOps skills (desired).
