Your role As a Network Technician in the Air Force, you'll be responsible for planning, maintaining, and managing connected systems and cyberspace capabilities. In this exciting and highly diverse role, you'll ensure the security and auditability of Air Force's voice and data networks to integrate air, space, cyber and ground operations. Your duties may include: Providing mission support to flying squadrons and air operations. Generating, maintaining and certifying cyberspace systems. Assuring tactical air/ground communications. Adapting and integrating systems for compatibility with Air Force, ADF and coalition systems. Applying cyberspace assurance and auditing functions to mitigate network penetration and protect vulnerabilities. Planning, coordinating, and providing software, cyberspace and networking support.
