Networks & Systems Administration (Information & Communication Technology)
Tell me about this role: Jacobs are on the hunt for an NV1 cleared Network/Systems Engineer to provide support to radar and other ICT Systems for Defence.
You will coordinate ICT change, testing and implementation activities.This role offers uncapped training and development opportunities as well as other benefits including free parking, flexible working and different leave arrangements including paid parental, study, reserve and volunteer leave.
What will I be doing day to day?
Manage active ICT change request through to implementation Support testing activities in conjunction with Defence partners Manage the implementation of ICT systems interfacing into networks Support the development of ICT related schedule activities Provide reporting to relevant stakeholders including ADF partners Provide adhoc training to ICT teams and the wider workforce
What sort of skills do I need?
Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, IT, Telecommunications, or a related discipline Experience in the Defence domain, particularly in ICT roles Familiarity with Defence ICT certification/accreditation/security related policy/process/procedures Familiarity with Defence space and radar projects is desirable Strong leadership and communication skills Process-oriented with good attention to detail Australian citizenship & an NV1 clearance as a minimum
