Are you an experienced Network Specialist looking for a new opportunity?
The Network Specialist is responsible for assisting in the implementation of BT's core network, customer networks, internet infrastructure, and information security while ensuring delivery of high levels of performance to all Service Level Agreements.
The Network Specialist will provide the appropriate customer service to support the revenue and growth targets for all IT-related business sectors in the company.
Let's Hear About You - Key Selection Criteria
Networking experience such as security frameworks, firewalls, WAN & LAN networks, cloud networking, cloud security, IPS/IDS, SDN, SD-WAN, Network Access Control (NAC) and DNS. Experience in fault finding and ability to diagnose complex network issues. Experience with various WAN technologies (e.g., MPLS, NBN, Satellite and LTE). Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring and analysis tools. Ability to work in a diverse customer-focused environment. Demonstrable success working both independently and as a member of a team. Ability and willingness to be part of an on-call roster. What You will need to Succeed
3 - 5+ years of industry experience. Experience in the ISP and/or MSP industry is highly desirable. Experience with service provider networking (MPLS, MP-BGP, L2VPN etc.) highly desirable. Solid understanding of access control models and network security (e.g., Firewalls, IPsec VPN, IPS, SASE). Experience with cloud vendors (AWS, Azure) an advantage. Special Requirements
