About the role  Harvey Norman's Information Technology Department's core focus is to deliver innovative IT solutions by delivering crucial projects to achieve the strategic goals of the business.
Reporting to the Head of IT Operations, you will ensure the seamless operation and security of the organisation's network environment, enabling efficient communication and connectivity for employees across all locations. You will manage a team of network professional's and provide technical leadership to ensure the reliable and secure operation of network services.
Responsibilities include; 
Manage the security, performance, availability and health of the organization's network including analysis, planning and designManage day to day objectives and give consistent feedback on a regular basis both individually, and in team meetingsEvaluate and recommend network technologies, solutions, and upgrades to enhance performance, scalability, and securityAccountable for the network infrastructure life cycle from planning, sourcing, supplier management, operational excellence whilst balancing cost, demand and riskDevelop and deploy strategic services and capabilities, sponsor initiatives that continuously improve scalability, availability, performance and adoption of new technologies to deliver increased business valueChampion the best interests of the team and the business by managing key stakeholders including CIO, InfoSec, Service Owners, Product Owners and Enterprise ArchitectsProvide significant input into architecture, strategy and roadmaps; recognising impact on customers and business objectivesTake ownership of new initiatives and confidently represent them in relevant Senior Management forums.About you As a technical leader, you will bring extensive experience in managing, developing and mentoring Network Services teams responsible for production systems. Your expertise includes a deep understanding of network topology concepts such as SD-WAN, coupled  with knowledge of related infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balances.
You will also have:
