You will also take ownership of Service Catalogue items related to your Network services, ensuring that they meet customer expectations. Working closely with the monitoring team, you will help set up best practice monitoring configurations that proactively notify the network team about potential issues. Furthermore, you will develop monthly reports demonstrating the value of our services to our customers.Provide 4th level technical support and guidance when required.Maintain the highest-level technical certifications across vendors within the Network space.Be a key Network resource during major Network related incidents and drive the incident to resolution while providing clear communication to customers.Take ownership for Service Catalogue items related to your Network services.Work with the monitoring team to ensure best practice monitoring configurations are setup and notify the network team proactively on Network issues.Develop and own monthly reporting capability within the Network space that demonstrates value to customers.What you bring:The ideal candidate for the Network Services Lead role brings a wealth of experience in senior infrastructure roles, specialising in Network. You hold a current CCIE or equivalent certification and at least two other vendor Network related industry certifications. Your strong knowledge and industry experience across a range of networking technologies, including vendors such as Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, HP & Aruba, will be invaluable. You have a strong understanding and demonstrated experience in various technologies and possess practical understanding of Microsoft Windows including Active Directory & radius services, SAN and Virtualised environments particularly relating to the Network implications, Linux (RedHat and Ubuntu), Disaster Recovery techniques, Security processes and procedures. Experience working within the ITIL framework is highly regarded.At least 5+ years in a senior infrastructure role specialising in NetworkCurrent CCIE (or equivalent) certificationAt least 2 other vendor Network related industry certificationsStrong knowledge and industry experience across a range of networking technologies including vendors such as Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, HP & Aruba.Strong understanding and demonstrated experience in Routing & Switching (Cisco, HP & Fortinet), Firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto & Cisco), Wireless (Cisco, Meraki, Aruba), WAN & SD-WAN, Security Appliances (IPS/IDS, Aruba Clearpass, Cisco ISE, MFA, Cisco Umbrella, Web Proxy etc.), Log Management (Syslog, SIEM), Azure & AWS Networking.Practical understanding of Microsoft Windows including Active Directory & radius services, SAN and Virtualised environments particularly relating to the Network implications, Linux (RedHat and Ubuntu), Disaster Recovery techniques, Security processes and procedures.Industry experience working within the ITIL framework (ITIL certifications highly regarded)What sets this company apart:Our client is an award-winning Managed Service Provider that prides itself on being a genuinely great place to work.
