Job Description The Network Incident Investigations Lead is a critical position responsible for managing and leading complex investigations into network incidents. This role involves identifying root causes, recommending and implementing preventative actions, and ensuring effective resolution of issues impacting network systems. The role requires strong technical expertise in electrical engineering, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to engage with various stakeholders to facilitate investigations and improvements.

Key Responsibilities: Lead and conduct detailed investigations into network and asset-related incidents.Collaborate with multiple business units and stakeholders to gather information and develop solutions.Address technical issues with broad business implications.Drive process improvements, standard enhancements, and new methodologies.Analyze data and trends to provide insights and share learnings with network teams.Manage relationships with external entities such as AEMO and other relevant distribution businesses.Ensure timely and high-quality completion of incident reports and related documentation.Work independently, taking full responsibility for the investigation process and decisions. The Successful Applicant Educational Background: Degree in Electrical Engineering.Experience: Minimum of 10 years in electrical engineering or operational roles, with a strong preference for experience in utility, energy, or asset management sectors.Skills:Expertise in root cause analysis and incident investigation methodologies.Proven ability to navigate emergency situations and provide effective solutions.Competency in data analysis and deriving actionable insights.Strong stakeholder management and engagement abilities.Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.Certifications: NER (National Engineering Registration) in Victoria is preferred.Personal Attributes:Curious and innovative with a focus on continuous improvement.Able to simplify complex issues and deliver clear, actionable recommendations.Demonstrates strong commitment to safety and high-quality standards.
