We are looking for a highly motivated Network Engineer to join the ranks of the Anduril Industries Network team.
As a network team member, your primary responsibility will be focused on improving and growing the existing Anduril network infrastructure and processes. You will also be working with other engineering and infosec teams to deploy and secure the network infrastructure required to protect Anduril's critical systems and data. You'll get the opportunity to work in a wide spectrum of environments including enterprise, service provider, datacenter, cloud, and production networks. You will be responsible for assigned tasks, individual projects and deadlines, monitoring network health, and providing escalation network support to all Andurilians. This person should be able to with limited supervision configure and deploy on-prem and cloud based network solutions, troubleshoot layer2/3 wired and wireless network connectivity, and manage layer 3-7 security policies.
WHAT YOU'LL DO Design and implement new network solutions and/or improve the efficiency of current networksInstall, configure, and support network equipment including routers, switches, and firewalls to ensure highly available network operationsSolve complex technical problems with little supervision and escalate when appropriateAct as SME for On-Prem Datacenter networkingProcure network equipment and manage subcontractors involved with network installationsProvide weekly on-call escalation support of the network.Travel to remote site locations for network hardware installs and upgradesUpdate and manage documentation of the network topology, infrastructure services, cabling diagrams, IP address allocations, IP routing/switching, etc.Maximize network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshootingManage scheduled upgradesReport network status to key stakeholdersREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 5-7 years of Enterprise network experience leading network initiatives with minimal oversight and guidanceExperience with Cisco and Palo Alto hardware platformsExperience with Palo Alto Network Solutions (Panorama and NGFW appliances)Extensive experience with vendor agnostic Layer 2 / Layer 3 services and wirelessExtensive experience with stateless ACLs, stateful firewalls, and IDS/IPSExperience with scalable IPSec deploymentsExperience with both Enterprise and Datacenter (EVPN-VXLAN) networkingExperience with Private Cloud deploymentsExperience with owning projects from start to finishPassion for technology and teamwork focused attitudeAbility to learn new technologies quicklyGood communication skills - both written and verbalAbility to travel for remote deployments when requiredMust be able and willing to lift 50 poundsSupport weekly On-call rotationMust be an Australian citizen and eligible to obtain an NV2 clearancePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience with Service Provider (SR-MPLS) networkingExperience with Arista and Aruba hardwareExperience with Classified networkingExperience with AWS, Azure, GCP, OCIExperience with Python, Nornir, Jinja, Ansible, TerraformExperience in a Zero trust/beyond corp environment is a plusStartup experience is a plusNote: Job Title may change based on candidate's experience and skillset.
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
