Are you passionate about building and maintaining cutting-edge network systems? We're seeking a skilled Network Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Network Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing network infrastructure to ensure seamless connectivity and reliability.
This position can be based almost anywhere across Australia!
The position is a fixed-term contract for nine months with the possibility of extension. About The Role: Deploy all network components as per the infrastructure and architecture standards.Rack and connect network equipment including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points according to the design and standards.Configure network equipment according to the design and templates.Test solution according to the requirements.Work cohesively with the other technology teams to achieve the overall department objectives.Work closely with project management team to ensure project delivery.Remote deploy networks in geographic locations across Australia.Maintain up-to-date network and technical documentation.Provide mentorship and support to junior members. About You: Strong understanding of network technologies, including LAN protocols, traditional WAN and SD-WAN, wireless technologies, firewalls, unicast and multicast routing.Knowledge of cloud networking technologies, including hybrid cloud interconnections.Strong documentation, problem solving and analytical skills.Good communication and interpersonal skills, able to communicate with users who have differing levels of technical understanding and expertise.Understanding of ITIL workflow.Risk assessment and continuous improvementExcellent stakeholder engagement skills working with diverse stakeholders.
