15th January, 2025Are you a skilled Network Engineer with a knack for stakeholder engagement, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a passion for delivering innovative solutions in industrial and production environments?
We're seeking a dynamic professional to play a critical role in designing, implementing, and commissioning network solutions across corporate, production, and process control networks.About the RoleYou will collaborate closely with stakeholders across the business to understand their unique requirements and translate these into tailored technical solutions.
You'll oversee multiple smaller work packages from inception to close-out, taking ownership of design, implementation, and transition to support.
The role will be on an initial 12 month contract and will be based in the Perth CBD.Key Responsibilities Design and commission a wide range of technology across corporate, production, and process control network functions.Develop comprehensive technical scope documentation, including detailed design requirements, implementation plans, test plans, and back-out strategies.Create and manage Bills of Material (BOM) and Scopes of Work (SOW).Prepare and execute change management plans, ensuring thorough testing and smooth transitions.Support asset and solution transition to operational teams.Skills and Experience RequiredCisco CCNP-level qualification or equivalent experience in IP network design and implementation.Strong knowledge of layer 2 and layer 3 protocols, including REP, STP, OSPF, and BGP.Proven experience with Cisco Firewalls, including policy implementation and troubleshooting access issues.Ability to produce high-quality technical requirements, design documentation, and change management plans.Hands-on experience with industrial and production networks, LTE networks, and microwave point-to-point/multipoint technologies.Experience or exposure to Transition Networks will be highly beneficial.Familiarity with change management processes and technical design development.Experience in mining or heavy industry environments is highly desirable.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders across all levels.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple work fronts efficiently and deliver results within tight timeframes.What We OfferOpportunity to work on cutting-edge projects in industrial and production environments.A collaborative and supportive team culture.Competitive remuneration package.Professional growth and development opportunities.The role is based in the Perth CBD and we are only able to consider candidates that are currently Perth based and hold full, unrestricted working rights.
