Our client, a global resource company, is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join their dynamic team.
In this role, you will play a key part in delivering a variety of network infrastructure projects, working closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and oversee the entire project lifecycle from design to completion.
Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with stakeholders to design and deliver infrastructure minor works.Design and commission a range of network technologies across various domains, including corporate, production, and process control.Develop high-quality technical requirements and design documentation.Create comprehensive change management plans, encompassing implementation, rollback, and testing strategies.Participate in the transition of assets and solutions to the support team.Manage multiple smaller work packages independently, ensuring timely and successful delivery.Essential Skills & Experience:Cisco CCNP certification or equivalent industry experience in the design and implementation of IP networks and security.Strong understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocols (e.g., REP, STP, OSPF, BGP).Proven ability to develop detailed design documentation, implementation plans, test plans, and rollback plans.Hands-on experience with Cisco Firewalls, including the implementation of new policies and troubleshooting access issues.Demonstrated experience in technical design development and documentation.Expertise in change management processes.Mining industry experience is highly desirable.Ability to effectively manage multiple projects concurrently.To be considered for the role, click the 'apply' button or for more information about this and other opportunities, please contact Nicole Oo via email: ****** and quote the above job reference number.
