Job Description Reporting to the Network Team Leader you will be responsible for: Support enterprise LAN/WAN and public cloud networking environments.Administer and maintain Cisco and Meraki devices (routers, switches, firewalls, access points).Implement and maintain network security measures and platforms, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), access control lists (ACLs) and Identity management platforms.Implement and troubleshoot VLANs, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, and other routing protocols.Manage Azure Virtual Networks (VNets), ExpressRoute, and VPN gateways.Perform regular firmware upgrades, patch management, and security audits.Ensure secure connectivity between on-premises infrastructure and Azure services.Monitor and analyse network traffic for security threats.Create and maintain comprehensive network documentation and generate performance/capacity reports.Collaborate with cross-functional teams on network issues and IT projects.Conduct root cause analysis, implement corrective actions, and identify areas for network optimisation.Participate in on-call rotation and provide out-of-hours support as needed. The Successful Applicant To be considered for and successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements: Currently living in Perth, WA.Hands-on ability to implement, support, and troubleshoot network and security devices and systems.Proven experience with Cisco/Meraki networking products.Experience with a variety of security products and services, including Cisco Firepower, Cisco ISE, wireless, and cloud security.Experience with Azure networking and cloud security products.Proficiency with network monitoring and management tools.Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills, with the ability to work collaboratively, maintain composure in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate attention to detail and a positive attitude.Strong understanding of the ITIL framework.Industry qualifications (CCNA/CCNP). Other desirable but not essential experience includes:Experience of software-defined networking (SDN) and network automation.Good understanding of Microsoft and VMware network virtualisation technologies.
