The Network Engineering team is responsible for delivering network requirements and implementation to achieve business outcomes. The GTS Networks team is responsible for delivering, supporting, and continuously improving the Bank's Global Network and Security services.
You will be reporting directly to a Chapter Lead as part of the Global Technology Services business unit. Your wider team consists of multiple squads in the Engineering disciplines of Network Security, Partner Connectivity, Workload Connectivity, Software Defined Network, Cloud Networking, Network Automation, and Workforce Connectivity.

Author and maintain application delivery controllers (ADC) network design documents, ensuring accuracy and representation of F5 LTM/GTM configuration and deployment of load balancing policy.Implementation of network security changes into CBA's network services and devices.Managing escalated issues, incidents & problems for network and security services.Extensive knowledge and demonstrated experience of F5 Big-IP LTM, GTM modules, iRule development.Possess very strong troubleshooting skills as well as a strong TCP and HTTP understanding as it pertains to packet inspection and TCP flow in the Network and Application flows.Good understanding of network concepts, routing and switching, and firewall security policy management.Creation of F5 load balancing provisioning designs to cater for F5 GTM, LTM, Viprion, Velos, and Virtual Editions.Discovery and validation of network connectivity requirements using enterprise tools such as Algosec, vRealise Network Insight, Splunk, Graphana, Observe, SolarWinds, Qualys, and Infoblox.Contribute to the documenting of current infrastructure services in order to ensure better future technology roadmaps.Desirable: Understanding and exposure to network automation and infrastructure-as-code (IaC), CI/CD, DecSecOps.Desirable: Experience and knowledge in DecSecOps (e.g., Ansible, Python, Terraform, Github, IaC, APIs, etc.).Desirable: Platform management including VMware ESXi, Linux, Windows Server, Web Servers, NGINX, SQL Databases.Desirable: Web Front-End Development including Angular, React, HTML, Javascript, Docusaurus.Manage escalation of complex technical issues from suppliers, operations, and application teams.Supporting and implementation of changes outside of regular business hours.Flexibility in working hours to accommodate after-hour changes.Willing to work in rostered after-hours on-call support.
