Network Engineer (Cmdb Experienced)

Location: Melbourne (Hybrid)
We are seeking a talented and experienced Network Engineer with expertise in Configuration Management Database (CMDB) to join our team at a leading multinational retail chain.
As a Network Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure to support our global operations.
Responsibilities:Design, configure, and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network availability, performance, and security meet business requirements.Implement and maintain Configuration Management Database (CMDB) to track network devices, configurations, and changes.Monitor network performance and troubleshoot network issues to ensure optimal performance and reliability.Develop and implement network security policies and procedures to protect against cyber threats and vulnerabilities.Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams and external vendors on network-related issues.Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve network infrastructure.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.Proven experience as a Network Engineer with expertise in Configuration Management Database (CMDB).Strong knowledge of network protocols, technologies, and security best practices.Experience with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting techniques.Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent certification is a plus.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, global environment.If you are a proactive and results-driven Network Engineer with experience in Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and a passion for designing and maintaining secure and reliable network infrastructure, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our leading multinational retail chain.
