What role will you play?
You will be part of our Network Automation team who are responsible for developing innovative new ways to manage and automate Macquarie's global network.
Our team works closely with the Network Engineering and Architecture teams, working with multiple stakeholders across our internal teams to drive end-to-end solutions.
You will assist with building out self-service web application interfaces to improve agility and reduce friction for internal customers such as utilising modern microservice frameworks.
You will have the opportunity to take part in designing and building infrastructure as-code solutions to simplify and standardise the management of network configuration.
What you offer
Strong experience developing in a high-level software language (Python is preferred).
Experience with managing containerised and cloud deployed applications.
Strong experience in API concepts and developing API endpoints.
Ability to work directly with our internal customers and stakeholders to understand their requirements, design and break down solutions.
Experience with secure code development practices.
Experience working in a team environment, utilising DevOps processes and source control systems.
