Job Description About the Role: Join our Melbourne-based team as a Network AutoCAD Designer, where you'll create and plan advanced Fibre Networks for Broadacre developments, Integrated Communications Networks (ICN), and Multi-Dwelling Units (MDU) . In this role, you'll also participate in the development and enhancement of design guidelines. Be a part of a forward-thinking team and help shape the future of telecommunications.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Produce fibre network designs in AutoCAD and DAD, including detailed splicing layouts Create and maintain design documentation for pit pipe and fibre standards, ensuring adherence to quality control processes Review and optimize design standards for enhanced network flexibility and cost efficiency Design fibre networks for Multi Dwelling Units (MDUs) and develop pit and pipe networks using AutoCAD Generate Bills of Materials (BoMs) for both Broadacre developments and MDUs Provide regular design status updates and maintain accurate project documentation records Ensure compliance with document control procedures and engage with project managers for optimal design outcomes Address customer issues within DAD and other Telco portals by maintaining accurate records Collaborate with contractors to achieve the best results from design implementations Assist in the continuous improvement of design guidelines and processes About you: The ideal person for this role will have/be:
