As our Network and Systems Administrator, you will apply your knowledge and experience of networking technologies to provide effective and efficient maintenance and development of our Information Systems, focusing on networking, server, and infrastructure solutions.
Working with our team, you will ensure the maintenance of networking and hardware systems, support end users, and contribute to planning, implementation, and review of Information Systems.
Your proactive, perceptive, and solution-focused approach will ensure you build and maintain strong working relationships across the business and are successful in this role.

Behaviour that positively demonstrates the Shire's HEART of: Honesty, Empathy, Accountability, Respect and Teamwork High level IT experience in a similar work environment.
Specialist knowledge of LAN and WAN network configuration and design, Windows desktop environment, TCP/IP network, Microsoft Terminal Server, Exchange, and VMWare server virtualisation.
Database administration including disaster recovery planning and execution (SQL preferred).
Demonstrated understanding of contemporary Information Systems practices, policies, and procedures.
Documentation & report writing skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
C Class Drivers Licence.
Networking certifications, and familiarity with SynergySoft or other ERP solutions, Virtual Windows server administration, and wireless technology skill set would be highly regarded.
