About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Network and Metering Reconciliation Team within the Customer Markets division. The team ensures the accuracy of invoices and reduces the risk of overpayments and billing errors in accordance with the AGL risk strategy, relevant B2B procedures, jurisdictional time frames and regulatory and contractual requirements. Reporting to the Network Reconciliation Team Lead, the Reconciliation Analyst will be responsible to oversee, monitor and execute network and energy reconciliations and initiatives.
About you'll be doing: Identify, analyse, and investigate primary causes of over/under charges in relation to network and metering charges.
Undertake root cause analysis of unreconciled charges to identify the primary issues causing revenue losses or overcharges.
Proactively develop processes with the aim of ensuring that AGL accurately passes through all applicable charges to customers.
Review and enhance reconciliation processes to deliver improved reconciliation KPIs including increasing the percentage of reconciled items.
What you'll bring: Able to work in collaboration with third parties and communicate and direct offshore business partners effectively.
Be a primary point of contact within the Governance and Assurance department for any escalations received from internal or external stakeholders.
Liaise with the offshore team to ensure delivery of network reconciliation processes and KPIs are met.
Evaluate improvement ideas submitted by offshore teams and provide ongoing feedback for operational improvements.
Ensure performance is balanced across key metrics within offshore delivery – productivity, quality, and compliance.
Coach and upskill both offshore and onshore colleagues as required.
