About The Role: As we expand our team, we are looking for a skilled Network Administrator to contribute to the success of our projects across the following tasks: Liaising with customers to determine their needs in a network and computer system to ensure it is fit for purpose; Assessing and recommending improvements to network operations and integrated hardware, software, communications, and operating systems; Designing, installing, configuring, testing, maintaining and administering new and upgraded networks, software database applications and servers; Protecting data, software, and hardware by coordinating, planning and implementing network security measures including performing disaster recovery operations and data backup as required; Maintaining, configuring & monitoring virus protection software and email applications; Troubleshooting, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and other network and computer system problems; Providing network programming in support of specific customer needs and requirements; Maintaining high levels of access, availability, reliability and stability of networked systems and infrastructure; Managing network and computer system access and use including adding and removing users and assigning and updating security permissions; Ensuring the efficient performance of company servers, printers, and computers; Maintaining clear documentation for network inventory and recording & reporting of all network faults; Conferring with network & computer system users about solving existing system problems; Ensuring there is continued integrity and monitoring of network traffic for optimum performance; Replacing faulty network and computer system hardware components when required.
About The Candidate: The ideal candidate will hold a relevant degree level qualification with 1-2 years of experience or at least 5 years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications.
