Your responsibilities will include: Configuration management, access control, security, management of WAN (Wide Area Network) and LAN (Local Area Network) connections.Troubleshooting and user education, in addition to ensuring the system's business as usual (BAU) operations.User maintenance and hardware support.Data management and system technical support/configuration.Backup/Restore/Disaster Recovery. About you: Well-developed communication skills and ability to work with a diverse set of stakeholders will be key to your success.Tertiary qualification in a related discipline (typically Information Technology) and/or equivalent experience/combined education in systems, network, or database administration.Ability to travel interstate on occasion.Team player, passionate about IT and a willingness to learn new and exciting technology.Desirable:Demonstrated experience in a project environment within Defence.Experience in Oracle and/or CompTIA Security+ and/or Network+.Experience in ODIN and/or ALIS.Experience in the application of multiple networking security methods. Special Requirements: Applicants must be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance and employment may be contingent on the provision of further personal information including citizenship to ensure compliance with international export control legislation and regulations.
