Your responsibilities will include: The Network Administrator located in Williamtown, NSW, will be will be responsible for a broad spectrum of tasks falling under the following categories: Configuration management, access control, security, management of WAN (Wide Area Network) and LAN (Local Area Network) connections.

Troubleshooting, and user education, in addition to ensuring the system's business as usual (BAU) operations User Maintenance and Hardware support Data management and System Technical Support/Configuration Backup/Restore/Disaster Recovery About you: Well-developed communication skills and ability to work with diverse set of stakeholders will be key to your success.
Tertiary qualification in a related discipline (typically Information Technology) and/or equivalent experience/combined education in Systems, Network or Database administration Ability to travel interstate on occasion Team player, passionate about IT and a willingness to learn new and exciting technology Desirable Demonstrated experience in a project environment within Defence Experience in Oracle and/or CompTIA Security+ and/or Network+ Experience in ODIN and or ALIS Experience in the application of multiple networking security methods Special Requirements: Applicants must be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance and employment may be contingent on the provision of further personal information including citizenship to ensure compliance with international export control legislation and regulations.
