Murray Irrigation has an exciting opportunity, based in Deniliquin, to join our ICT Team. Our dynamic ICT department is pivotal to the business success, and we are looking for a proactive Network Administrator to complete our team.
As an ICT Network Administrator, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the organisation's network infrastructure. Your expertise will ensure seamless connectivity, optimal performance, and security across our network systems. From configuring network devices to monitoring for potential issues, your role will be essential in keeping our IT environment reliable and efficient.
The perfect candidate Recent experience in a similar roleIn-depth understanding of network protocols, architectures, and topologies. Knowledge of network security principles, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and access controls. Experience with firewall configuration, network segmentation, and security practices. Hands-on experience with network hardware and software, including Ubiquiti, Sophos, Juniper, or similar equipment.Experience with configuring IPSec site-to-site and remote access VPNs.In-depth understanding of Azure, AWS or other cloud platform networking principles.Relevant industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving network issues.
