$120-135k including super 3 days in the office (North Sydney/CBD) and 2 from home Support junior team members and work closely with senior staff About the team The role is a key part of the Network Technology Team who are continually shaping and developing how we facilitate and support the core and customer network.
The Network Technology Team are responsible for delivery of high quality, reliable and secured network connectivity.
Looking after the Data centre network, Internet environments, Network security and service provider network infrastructure.
What you will be doing: · Support core network, including Datacentre Network, Internet, Office, Service Provider Network, Network Monitoring and Security.
Contributing to procedural documentation and knowledge base as required.
· Responding to incoming support incidents in a timely manner.
Resolve incidents, problems and change requests to required service level targets · Manage time in a manner to ensure all tasks are completed within specified time-frames · Operate within ITIL service management processes including incident, problem and change management · Uphold and adhere to core values, guidelines, policies and procedures · Contribute to the design and implementation of projects · Liaise between the customer, stakeholders and infrastructure to provide innovative solutions for Customers (internal and external) · Management of Network Infrastructure including Monitoring and Capacity Planning.
· Assist in the deployment of networks to support backend projects What you will bring: · Solid Experience in Arista Switching/Wireless ,Cisco and Cumulus networking technologies · EVPN, VRF, MPLS, NAT, QoS and VPN knowledge · Experience working on network routing technologies (Static/RIP/OSPF/BGP) · Experience in delivering and supporting large scale networks · Experience working on F5 technologies (LTM, GTM, APM and ASM).
Design, support and upgrade of F5 physical and virtual devices.
· Experience working on Palo Alto Security technologies.
Design, support and upgrade of Palo Alto network firewall devices.
· Influenced and negotiated with stakeholders to achieve the best outcomes · Directly interfaced with non-technical customers · Experience working with and maintaining mission critical networks · Worked with monitoring tools and developed metrics for network availability Tertiary degree in computer science/engineering/telecommunications.
· Vendor certifications CCNP / CCIE, F5, Palo Alto etc.
· Knowledge and support of operating systems – Windows / Linux · Scripting skills · Network monitoring · Mentoring team members.
