About the Role: SoftLabs is seeking a .Net Developer for ICT Labour hire attheir technology consulting based in Canberra.
The successful candidate will be working closely withProject teams around the design for new and existing applications. Completingthe analysis, design, construction and testing of assigned functionality withinallocated timeframes.
Responsibilities: Understanding and promoting a corporate approach toapplications development through the development and re-use of components,standards, procedures and guidelines
Under own direction, manage all stages and activitiesassociated with the application development process.
Strong technical skills in .Net Framework/.Net Core, Modernfront-end frameworks such as Vue.JS, Restful APIs and SQL server.
Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code tospecifications following Departmental standards, practices and securityrequirements, for example implementing APIs or services for internal andexternal use.
Improve and maintain existing legacy systems.
Conduct unit and integration testing under supervision,record the details of any failures.
Develop and maintain effective relationships both internallyand externally.
CSS frameworks including Bootstrap Microsoft Web API / RESTArchitecture
Experience in SQL / Entity Framework
Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and Agilemethodologies and Microsoft Azure
Experience in CI/CD Practices
Experience with PowerShell automation
Experience with concurrent development source control (Git)
Experience in Solution Design Patterns and Best Practices,e.g. SOA Experience in Reactive frontend frameworks including React, Vue orAngular
