Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated .NET Core developer. This role is perfect for someone who specialises in Geographic Information System (GIS) map-based systems and applications, adept at designing and developing efficient and user-friendly solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, problem-solving, and collaboration, with a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends.
What you'll do:
Developing and maintaining GIS map-based applications using .NET CoreCollaborating with the team to design and implement efficient database structures and optimised spatial queries.Integrating various mapping libraries and geocoding services to enhance the functionality and usability of the applications.Implementing RESTful APIs to communicate with external systems and provide data exchange capabilities.Conducting code reviews and contributing to continuous integration and delivery processes to ensure code quality and maintainability.
What you bring:
.NET Core Development: Proficient in developing robust web and IOS applications using .NET Core.GIS Mapping Systems: knowledge of GIS concepts, tools, including spatial databases, mapping libraries such as ArcGIS or OpenLayers is desirableC#: Strong command over C# programming language enabling efficient application development.ASP.NET Core: Proficient in developing web applications including RESTful APIs, MVC pattern.Problem-solving: Strong analytical skills with an ability to understand complex requirements.Collaboration and Communication: Excellent team player with strong communication skills.
