.Net Developer Job Overview Work with the federal government department on a range of operations and services to deliver ICT projects using .Net, .Net core, ASP .Net etc.
Responsibilities Develop and maintain Azure based web API and Portal applications to support existing legislative reporting requirements, and new regulatory processes.Integrate various system components to achieve a seamless end to end experience for users.Provide technical advice on issues related to systems development.Apply secure coding practices/processes to ensure solutions delivered are secure and robust.Conduct peer reviews of code and infrastructure.Understand and code against detailed application architecture documents.Ensure that best practice and Departmental standards are applied and managed.Create and review technical/release documentation.Effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Collaborate with a cross-functional team working with an agile structure.Mentor team members to promote team harmony and support cross-skilling professional development.Instil a culture of learning, collaboration, and continuous improvement in a team environment.Undertake additional duties as required.Technical Skills Minimum 5 years experience in:
Implementing secure web-based business solutions.Developing web APIs using Azure API Manager and customer-facing web portal development using .NET Framework (including .NET Core) and ASP.NET.Developing web applications using either Angular or React.Familiarity with the Information Security Manual (ISM), its controls and how to apply them to a solution design and build.Unit/integration/automation testing, familiarity with xUnit, Selenium, Playwright.Net.Benefits Possibility of remote working arrangement.Long-term role.Eligibility Requirements Australian citizenship is mandatory due to the nature of the role.
