If so, you might be the perfect fit for our NEST Program Coordinator position!Due to increased demand for our NEST (Nutrition Education Skills Training) program, we are growing our NEST Team in Canberra!
As a NEST Program Coordinator, your work will involve coordinating and delivering our NEST program, a six-week program that teaches adults how to cook and eat healthily on a tight budget.
Travelling to different charitable agencies each week, you will be responsible for facilitating fun and interactive sessions that include nutrition and food literacy activities, practical cooking lessons, and always ending with a meal together.TO BE SUCCESSFUL:Experience in delivering nutrition and health education programs to a diverse range of peopleExcellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skillsA current driver's license and access to a reliable vehicleA positive attitude, a sense of humour, and a passion for food, education and sustainabilityThis is a full-time contract position, starting 20th January 2025 and ending 30th June 2025.Company OverviewFounded by Ronni Kahn AO in 2004 after noticing the huge volume of food going to waste, OzHarvest quickly grew to become Australia's leading food rescue organisation.
