Job Description:
The successful Project Manager will lead the redesign of the IP addressing scheme. This project will tackle IP address exhaustion, complex network management, and scalability issues.
Key Responsibilities: IP Address Plan: Develop and implement an IP addressing change plan. Communicate with stakeholders and vendors. Testing Solutions: Test solutions in a lab environment. Work with Cisco consultants and MSPs for viable solutions. Desktop and Site Surveys: Map current IP addresses and devices. Manage contractors for site visits and network mapping. Solution Vision: Develop and present a high-level business needs statement. Summarize and propose solutions for stakeholder endorsement. Detailed Infrastructure Design: Create a comprehensive technical solution document. Communicate phased implementation plans. Qualifications: Project management experience in operational technology. Strong understanding of IP addressing and network architecture. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Experience with Cisco products is a plus.
