Internal Sales Consultant - Transport and Logistics Neil Mansell Transport nationally is recognised as an industry leader in the many facets of the transport industry. We have grown to be one of the leading logistic service providers in WA of refrigerated and general goods, servicing all the northwest and remote communities in the Kimberley region through to NT & Qld.
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated salesperson to join our team in Welshpool. The position is full time, predominately internally placed. Opportunity for some regional travel from time to time to meet our other depot teams and customers in the north.
Duties and Responsibilities Engage with relevant business and organisation personnel to offer solutions to meet their transport needs. Respond to all customer requests for quotations in a timely and professional manner. Identify new business opportunities and leads to expand existing services. Prepare and submit reports for discussion weekly with the state manager. Adhere to all company policies and procedures. All other duties as required by management. Proven sales experience within the transport industry. Strong logistical knowledge, freight and vehicle configurations. Highly organised, self-motivated with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to develop relationships with clients and industry stakeholders. We offer A highly competitive salary.
