About the Role This opportunity is based in Port Hedland, home to our port and rail operations and is the largest regional centre in North West Australia. This role is being offered on a residential or FIFO basis working an even-time roster (7 days on / 7 days off), based in our ore car maintenance workshop at Nelson Point. Other benefits include generous allowances, an attractive share scheme, annual salary reviews and a short-term incentive bonus. 
Working as an NDT Technician your responsibilities will include: 
Conduct non-destructive examinations and inspections of weld defects Analysis of all workshop machinery components for surface and subsurface cracks Prepare and compile data and reports Perform NDT equipment maintenance & calibration An overriding commitment to health, safety, environment responsibility and sustainable development Maintain a high standard of housekeeping, attention to detail and quality of work About You Our successful candidate will have the following:
Qualifications and experience in Eddy Current Testing (Level 2), Magnetic Particle Testing (Level 2), Ultrasonic Testing (Level 2) and Dye Penetrant (Level 2); High Risk licences (Dogging, Forklift, Working at Heights, EWP) are highly desirable Current WA Drivers Licence WA Radiation Safety Licence Strong computer literacy skills, particularly MS Office suite (Excel, Outlook, Word). Experience in Loc8, RSB and SharePoint will be highly regarded.
