We need you. Miwatj Health are pleased to offer this position as a Full Time opportunity. Based in Darwin, NT, you will oversee the implementation of NDIS Participant care plans ensuring that they are monitored, actively managed and, where identified, barriers are addressed to meet the participant's NDIS plan aims and outcomes for participating more fully in the community.

The Support Coordination (NDIS) position will oversee the implementation of NDIS Participant care plans ensuring that they are monitored, actively managed and where identified, barriers are addressed to meet the participant's NDIS plans aims and outcomes for participating more fully in the community.The support coordinator will also work with people with disabilities in the East Arnhem region to establish and support connections with providers and resources. As a support coordinator you will record billable hours as set out by fee-for-service model, monthly billable targets determined by program need.A competitive salary of full remuneration $79,695 - $91,486 PA (dependent on skills and experience) is available with this full-time position.

An understanding of and commitment to Aboriginal Community Control and self-determination.An understanding of the issues faced by Yolngu people living in remote settings.Current Ochre Card (Working with Children's Check NT) and Covid 19 vaccination.Knowledge and understanding of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and experience in utilising a range of community based supports to achieve client goals within a framework of person-centred practice.Previous experience working as a NDIS Case Coordinator.Demonstrated experience working with individual financial and budgetary packages, monitoring expenditure and paying service providers based on the NDIS-funded services provided.High level of interpersonal, communication skills, including the ability to negotiate and work collaboratively and successfully with community based stakeholders.Proficient use of IT systems and processes including Microsoft, Outlook, Excel, and client management systems.Current NT class drivers licence or equivalent and the capacity to travel regularly to remote community including flying in small aircrafts, including multiple overnight stay in community.For more information, please contact the NDIS Operations Manager at and quote reference NDIS Support Coordinator.
