Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate NDIS Support Coordinator to join our team. As an NDIS Support Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in assisting individuals with disabilities to navigate the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and access the supports and services they need to lead fulfilling lives.
Key Responsibilities: Work closely with NDIS participants and their families to understand their goals, needs, and preferences.Assist participants in developing and implementing their NDIS plans, ensuring they have access to the appropriate supports and services.Provide information, guidance, and advocacy to help participants make informed decisions about their NDIS plans.Liaise with service providers, healthcare professionals, and community organizations to coordinate and facilitate the delivery of NDIS-funded supports.Monitor participants' progress and review their NDIS plans as needed to ensure they continue to meet their evolving needs.Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with NDIS guidelines and organizational policies.If you are passionate about supporting people with disabilities to live their best lives and meet their goals, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding opportunity. QualificationsBachelor's degree in social work, disability studies, psychology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Previous experience working in disability services or a similar role, preferably within the NDIS framework.Strong understanding of the NDIS legislation, policies, and procedures.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trusting relationships with diverse stakeholders.Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.Empathy, patience, and a genuine commitment to empowering individuals with disabilities to achieve their goals. #J-18808-Ljbffr
