Orange Aboriginal Medical Service (OAMS) is making a difference to the health of Aboriginal families and the wider community of Central Western NSW.

Common day-to-day duties of the position may include (but are not limited to):Engaging and coordinating service providers on behalf of customers and linking customers to relevant providers.Meeting with and engaging customers to develop and refine their goals.Engaging customers' informal supports (family, carers, etc.
).Working with customers to help build their own capacity and independence.Building knowledge of local services and organisations customers can utilise.Engaging with NDIA and LAC's.Providing crisis support to customers.Assessing and managing risk in line with organisational policies and procedures.SELECTION CRITERIA:Sound understanding of the NDIS and operational guidelines.High emotional intelligence.Experience in the Community Services field with strong community connections and networks across NDIS providers, mainstream supports, and community sector.Exceptional time management and scheduling skills.Able to work across multiple priorities across caseloads.Tertiary qualifications or substantial experience working within the NDIS framework.Exceptional computer skills.Well-developed communication skills with the capacity to engage at all levels.Sound report writing skills.Work well in a changing environment.Ability to work autonomously and be a self-starter, with a high degree of initiative and problem-solving skills across multiple sectors.Experience in working in a team environment that is open and transparent with a person-centered focus.A passion and tenacious attitude towards supporting participants and families while embracing a changing environment.Additional Factors:Possession of a current 'C' Class Open Driver's Licence valid in NSW is required.Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.Current NSW Working with Children's Check.Current Criminal History check.Proof of vaccination must be provided upon acceptance of appointment.Current NDIS Workers Screen Clearance.#J-18808-Ljbffr
