Description: The Opportunity We are expanding our services to include community access programs, social activities, and exciting new pilot initiatives that enhance life skills and social connections for children and young people. As our Service Coordinator, you will take the lead in trialling, managing and growing these services and programs and ensure the staff and participants involved in these new initiatives have a great experience. Key Responsibilities:Manage and grow our community access services and social programs for children and young people living with disabilities.Develop and implement pilot initiatives to explore new ways to enhance social engagement and life skills.Form and lead small teams closely so they feel supported in delivering pilot services.Collaborate with clients, families, and support teams to tailor programs that meet individual needs and goals.Work closely with our Case Manager to align services with NDIS plans and compliance requirements.Build strong connections with local community organizations, businesses, and activity providers to expand opportunities for clients.Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients during their participation in programs, ensuring a positive and safe experience. Skills and Experiences: What you bringCreativity and passion for developing new initiatives that promote social inclusion and independence in alignment with our mission and values.Experience working with children and young people with disabilities, particularly in community or social program settings. Experience in the NDIS sector an advantage.Strong communication and organizational skills, with an ability to manage multiple programs and stakeholder relationships.A proactive and positive approach to problem-solving and program development.At least intermediate IT skills with demonstrated ability to confidently generalize across different platforms.A passion for building strong relationships and being influential in your approach.
